Passer ("the App") connects people who want to send a package with travelers heading to the same destination. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Account information. When you sign in or create an account, we collect your email address and password (handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password ourselves).
Package request details. When you post a package request, we collect the sender's name, package size, contents description, destination city, travel date, and the payment amount and currency you choose to offer.
Delivery confirmation information. When a delivery is completed, the App collects a receiver signature, an optional delivery photo, and an optional note confirming delivery.
Usage data. Basic app usage analytics are collected via Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the App is used and to fix problems.
The App includes an identity verification (KYC) feature in its codebase for future use, but it is not active in the current release and no passport, ID, or document photo data is collected today. If enabled in a future update, this policy will be updated accordingly before that data collection begins. Likewise, no platform fee is currently calculated or charged — travelers receive the full payment amount the sender offers.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data is stored using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage), which may process and store data on servers located outside your country of residence. Firebase's own privacy and security practices are documented at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
We retain your account and request data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address below. Package requests you post can also be deleted directly within the App.
We recommend against posting any information in the "contents" or chat fields that isn't necessary to complete a delivery.
The App is not intended for use by children under 18, given that it involves payments and coordination with strangers for physical deliveries. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
